On Wednesday, Nov. 3 Assistance League members helped our Operation New Start collaborator DuPage PADS kick-off its 25th anniversary year by attending the Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast at Benedictine University in Lisle. This is an inspirational event every year, but was even more so this year because of the guest speaker, Liz Murray, a young woman who worked her way up and out of homelessness all the way to Harvard University. Betty Cronin and Diane Mrozek encouraged members to support the work PADS does in DuPage County to help the homeless.
