ALCW Goes to Town

Jeff Cortopassi designed and installed our display
On April 13, 2011 the Hinsdale Public Library participated in Snapshot Day. The purpose of the event was to show how important libraries are to the state of Illinois.  On that Wednesday, 615 people visited the library to use computers, participate in programs, check out materials, ask reference questions and READ.

Why do I mention that? Assistance League of Chicagoland West will be on display in the front lobby of the Hinsdale Public Library the entire month of December, including the school holiday when more parents may be taking their youngsters in to check out books. Without doing the math, hundreds of people will see our logo and maybe stop to learn more. The Three Ways to Help sign was added after the original photo and replaced the notepad in the forefront.

Check it out!
